For Metal Ducts:

1. Find the Location: Locate the best place to install, usually where the air returns to your home from the AC unit near the cooling coils.
2. Prepare the Opening: Find a center point in the aluminum duct and cut or drill a three-inch hole.
3. Install the Unit: Place the UVC Max 25 into the opening and secure it with the provided screws using a screwdriver.
4. Power Up: Plug in the unit to start purifying your home’s air.

For Duct Board Air Systems:

1. Find the Location: Locate the best place to install, usually where the air returns to your home from the AC unit near the cooling coils.
2. Prepare the Opening: Use the mounting plate as a guide to cut an opening in your air duct with a utility knife or other tool.
3. Install the Mounting Plate: Place the mounting plate over the opening, bend the plate 90 degrees at the first score point, and then bend the plate at the second score point to secure it to the vent.
4. Install the Unit: Insert the UVC Max 25, align the holes with the mounting plate, and secure it with screws using a screwdriver.
5. Power Up: Plug in the unit to start purifying your home’s air.
